The grand property has been designed to exploit its elevated position and the views of the surrounding landscape, in an industrial and minimalist style. Spanning three expansive levels, the ridge-top property can accommodate up to 14 guests with its seven bedrooms. Featuring smart home automation, concierge services, a heated mineral pool, indoor cinema, and exceptional furnishings and fixtures, it is a modern interpretation of a costal holiday home, with carefully curated comforts and luxuries for an unforgettable stay.

The use of curved elements, in the otherwise rectilinear nature of the design, was important to the siblings. A cantilevered spiral staircase, circular walls, curved balconies and the suspended concrete pool with its gently rounded bottom, provide elegant contrast to the strong lines and expanses of concrete and stone. The award winning home is an architectural wonderland.

The use of circular detailing continues into the interiors. In the award-winning master ensuite, a curved wall of fluted granite frames our luxurious freestanding bath from the Lunar Collection. When deciding on finishes for the master ensuite, Matt and Jacqueline sought an Australian luxury bathware designer, whose products showcase individualism and architecture.

“We were after a collection that had a soft sculptural look and was grand in its design,” said Jacqueline.

As the name suggests, the Lunar Collection is inspired by the moon and was specifically selected for its distinctive circular profile, and grand proportions. A skylight above the generously sized bath, allows natural light to pour through, while offering guests a private view in the ultimate bathing experience. Matching countertop basins in our ‘Diamond White’ finish perfectly complement the overall design in this calming retreat.
