Opened in December last year, our latest hospitality project in Singapore – The Barracks Hotel on Sentosa Island, is a beautifully crafted tribute to the Islands maritime past. Formerly a British military outpost, the building, constructed in 1904, has been transformed into a 40-room boutique hotel by KKS Group’s Singapore team. The result is a storied sense of style, intrigue and romance - a wonderful example of heritage restored and celebrated through considered design. The carefully preserved building overlooks a stunning pool and abundance of tropical foliage. Inside, decorative mouldings, original columns and louvered windows create the perfect backdrop for more contemporary comforts and artifacts from its fascinating past. The apaiser team created luxurious, bespoke freestanding baths for the bathrooms, paired with Eclipse basins from the collections in a rich, deep custom hue.
